Microsoft Word Tips - How to change the default font in Microsoft Word?
In this post, we shall see how to change the default font in Microsoft Word? For example, I am currently using Microsoft Word 2007, and the default font is “Calibri” . But for most of my needs, I generally use “Times New Roman”. For similar reasons, if you need to change the default font, then do this (which you can also refer to Microsoft Word help.
Now when you open a new blank document, you should be able to see that the default font has changed to the one you set.
- Open Microsoft Word
- On the Home tab, click the Font Dialog Box Launcher (a small arrow pointing downward), and then click the Font tab.
- Select the font, font-size and any other formatting required
- Click on the default button at the bottom
- You will be prompted a warning that you are about to change the default font. If you get an option to choose "Only this Document" or "All other document", choose as per your requirement.
- Click OK
Now when you open a new blank document, you should be able to see that the default font has changed to the one you set.
