How to install custom ROM on Android Phone [Samsung Galaxy Grand]?
This post explains how to install custom ROM GENNXT I9082OFFICIAL4.2.2 on Samsung Galaxy Grand. The process of installing custom ROM on Android Phones practically the same except a few differences here and there based on hardware and software differences.
Advantages of installing custom ROM:
The stock ROM that comes with the phone has lot of bloatware (unnecessary applications) such as Google Play Movies, Google Play Music, ChatOn, and other Google and Samsung applications that you will hardly or never use. They are just lying there and consuming space and RAM. A custom ROM will not include these applications.
There are risks of rooting your phone such as voiding warranty and if something goes wrong, your phone might get bricked. Consider these risks and proceed if you must.
