When a Blogger blog is viewed on mobile devices, Blogger by default chooses a mobile template to display the blog. Now, mobile templates are great as the display is optimized for mobile devices' screen. The blog posts are nicely arranged to fit the mobile device's screen. So far so good to view and navigate Blogger blogs on mobile devices.
But you may also have encountered that some widgets do not show on mobile devices though they appear on desktops. If we do some customizations by adding widgets or if advertisements were added on Blogger blog using widgets, they may not appear on mobile devices.

This is especially a problem if Google Adsense is implemented in Blogger widgets. As we know, more and more internet users are on mobile devices, chances of those ads getting seen are minimized if the widgets do not show on mobile devices. This is basically a problem of some widgets not appearing on mobile devices though they appear on desktop. In which case, see this post how to make widgets appear on mobile devices: https://techubber.blogspot.com/2016/04/how-to-make-blogger-widgets-visible-in.html. It is explained how to show some Blogger widgets not appearing on mobile devices.

Still, if you want your viewers to see the same desktop layout even on mobile devices, then there is a way. However, not that, it is always better to show mobile templates instead of desktop templates on mobile devices. Due to the screen size of mobile devices, it is actually very inconvenient to look at the screen. Users may also have to zoom in to be able to read the letters

How to force Blogger to show desktop template on mobile devices?

[Note: This will work only on classic Blogger templates.  The new Blogger templates (responsive) do not have the options described in the steps below, and other custom templates (not from Blogger) may not work also.]

To see the template applied for desktop and mobile devices:

  • Login to Blogger
  • Select a particular blog
  • Go to  Template
In the template page, you can see two sections "Live Blog" and "Mobile". It shows a live preview how the blog appears normally and on mobile devices.

Force Blogger to show desktop template on mobile devices:

  • Login to Blogger
  • Select a particular blog
  • Go to  Template
  • Click on the gear icon just below the Mobile Template shown
  • on the "Template  ›  Choose mobile template" page, it says "On mobile devices, show a mobile version of your current template. " And the options are:
    •  Yes. Show mobile template on mobile devices.
    • No. Show desktop template on mobile devices.
Select  "No. Show desktop template on mobile devices. " to force Blogger to show desktop template on mobile devices as well.
Blogger: force desktop template on mobile devices
This forces Blogger to show the blog as it is viewed on desktops. All advertising code and customizations done are displayed as it is. The Blogger template will adapt to the screen size and show the whole page. The reader may have to zoom in to read comfortably. The texts should adapt accordingly except for the picture. Pictures will stretch out of the screen.

If the current Blogger template does not adapt well (like custom Blogger templates), try using Blogger's default templates.

  4. Except it does not work or blogger changed my blog and disabled same; it does say 'disabled' and the 'desktop' mode is selected. It still refuses to use same!

My blog is not kosher, and that might be the reason; hell they delete pages or images with evidence they don't like as does Jewpress.
