Facebook | “You can’t post this because it has a blocked link” error

There are reports of Facebook blocking websites/URL from sharing links on Facebook that their system considers spam or some one reported it to be abusive. For some, Facebook might have blocked the website because it is genuinely malicious or due to violation of Facebook policies. And in come case, it could be false-positive. There are people complaining in the Facebook community and forums online. Not sure if any one has got their website unblocked by Facebook. Even I have a website that got blocked and I still can't figure out why.

Facebook blocked your website or the link you tried to share? Here are a few things you can try but please note there is no guarantee your issue will be resolved.

1. Submit a review to Facebook

Go to the link given below and report an error:

After reporting on the link above, I received an email from Facebook saying:

Thanks for taking the time to submit this report. While we don't currently provide 

individual support for this issue, this information will help us identify 

bugs on our site.

That was outright cold, in my opinion. 

Facebook blocked a website without the owner having a clue what caused it and they don't seem helpful at all. 

2. Another way to let Facebook know about the issue is, when you attempt to share a link and if it is blocked, a pop-up will appear that has a link “let us know”. 

Click on the "let us know" link and submit a request to unblock.

The frustrating part:

I have done both of these quite a number of times and it is still blocked. The response is pretty cold. The email from Facebook shows they don't have space or time to care about you.
