5 useful ways to use OTG with your Android Smartphone

OTG or On-The-Go can be very useful to transfer files to and from the smartphones that support the OTG feature. Most recent Android Phones support OTG. The most common task we would normally perform using an OTG cable is to transfer files from USB pendrive. But besides file transfer, OTG can be used for other tasks as well like, connect USB keyboard to your smartphone, connect USB mouse  to your smartphone, to charge another phone etc.

Connect keyboard to smartphone

I know it is practically not necessary to connect keyboard to your smartphone. But if you need to, you can connect regular USB keyboard to smartphone using OTG cable. Just plug in the OTG cable to the USB port on the smartphone, and then plug in the USB keyboard to the USB female end of the OTG cable. 

Connect mouse to smartphone

Similarly, you can also connect USB mouse to smartphone. Just plug in the OTG cable to the USB port on the smartphone, and then plug in the USB mouse to the USB female end of the OTG cable.
