How to bulk add or remove labels from multiple posts in Blogger (Blogspot)?

In WordPress, there are categories and tags, where, categories are meant to be broad and tags are meant to be more specific. But in Blogger there are labels. Overtime, you might want to clean up some labels as some are redundant. In this post, we will see How to bulk add or remove labels from multiple posts in Blogger (Blogspot).

In Blogger (Blogspot), you can easily bulk add or remove labels from multiple posts using the post management interface. Before that, let's see how to filter posts by label in Blogger (Blogspot), which will be useful in the later discussions.

How to filter posts by label in Blogger (Blogspot) ?

You can filter posts by label in the Posts section. Use the label filter at the top of the post list to show only posts with a particular label, making it easier to bulk manage labels.

1) Log in to Blogger:  Go to Blogger.com and log in with your Google account.

2) In the Blogger Dashboard, select your blog.

3) Click on Posts from the left-hand menu to see the list of your blog posts.

4) Click on the Label icon, just before Manage.

5) A new pop up window appears, and you can select the Label to filter with.

Steps to Bulk Add Labels to Multiple Posts in Blogger (Blogspot):

Let's say you want to add new label called 'Street Fashion' to all posts with label 'Fashion'.  While you can also find and select one by one, you can also filter all the posts with label 'Fashion' first,and then add the new label - Street Fashion'

1) Log in to Blogger:  Go to Blogger.com and log in with your Google account.

2) In the Blogger Dashboard, select your blog.

3) Click on Posts from the left-hand menu to see the list of your blog posts.

4) Click on the Label icon, just before Manage

5) A new pop up window appears, and you can select the Label to filter with.

 Now only the posts with the selected label will appear.

4) Next, click on Manage from the top right corner.

Now, check boxes are visible, and you can select multiple posts.

5) On the posts page, check the boxes next to the posts to which you want to add a label. You can select multiple posts at once.

6)  At the top of the posts list, click the Label icon (it looks like a tag), just before the Delete icon.

7) A new pop up window appears. You can select the label to add to the selected posts, or you can add new label.

Click Apply and the labels will be applied to the selected posts.

Steps to Bulk Remove Labels to Multiple Posts in Blogger (Blogspot):

5) A new pop up window appears, and you can select the Label to filter with.

 Now only the posts with the selected label will appear.

4) Next, click on Manage from the top right corner.

Now, check boxes are visible, and you can select multiple posts.

5) On the posts page, check the boxes next to the posts to which you want to add a label. You can select multiple posts at once.

6)  At the top of the posts list, click the Label icon (it looks like a tag), just before the Delete icon.

7) A new pop up window appears. You can unselect the label to remove the label from the selected posts.

Click Apply and the labels will be removed from the selected posts.
