Windows Live Writer comes with a cool feature of sending pings to various web directories. Whenever you will publish a new post, Windows Live Writer will send ping to provided list of servers. It is important for bloggers as your blog will be known to the ping directories and help find your blog more easily.
How to configure Windows Live Writer ping servers?
- Go to Tools -> Options -> Ping Servers
- Enable this feature and enter the URLs of ping servers.
- Copy and paste the following servers or just a few if you like and add it to the list. It should be one server per line
