How to check transaction history of Airtel Payments Bank Saving Account on Airtel Android App?

After Digital India initiatives by the Government and especially after demonetization, usage of digital payments have increased. Nowadays, many citizens are using various modes of digital payment be it usage of debit cars, ewallets, Unified Payment Interface (UPI) etc. Airtel also introduced Airtel Payments Bank which is beneficial for Airtel subscribers to pay utility bills and also to do online shopping on select eMarchet websites where the payment method is supported. As on 15 Feb 2018, Airtel Payments Bank offers an interest of 7.25% which is higher than regular saving account in any Bank. For all those using Airtel Payment Bank, we shall see how to check transaction history of Airtel Payments Bank Saving Account.

How to check transaction history of Airtel Payments Bank Saving Account on Airtel Android App?

Like with any other bank account, we would like to check our transaction history after spending. We can also check transaction history for the Airtel Payment Bank Saving Account but there is no button provided in the Airtel Payment Bank screen in the Airtel App.

Airtel Payment Bank

1. Open Airtel App

2. Swipe right to left to go to Airtel Payment Bank screen

3. In the Airtel Payment Bank screen, you can see the balance in the Airtel Payment Bank Savings Account, Rate of Interest etc.

4. Buttons are available to do transactions such as add money, send money, pay bills etc.

But there is no button here to check transaction history or passbook.

To check transaction history on the Airtel Payments Bank App, do the following:

1. Open the Airtel App

2. Tap on the  menu of the Airtel App (top left corner)

3. Tap transaction history

4. Tap on MODIFY

5. Select date range

6. Select CATEGORY = Saving Account

There would be more items here such as Prepaid, DTH etc. depending on the services you have with Airtel.

7. Tap on SEARCH

You may be prompted to enter the mPIN.

8. Enter the mPIN

And you can see the transaction history of your Airtel Payment Bank Savings Account.

Similary, you can also check transaction history of other services such as  - prepaid, DTH, etc from the transaction history on the Airtel App.
