If you had access to a WiFi network before and you cannot connect to it anymore than check the following. You might be getting "Unable to connect" error, or the connection appears to be fine but you have no access to internet. Or it asks you for a password and the password is accepted but you still cannot access.

A situation like this might occur when you or the owner of the WiFi has changed some settings of the WiFi such as the SSID (WiFi Name) or Password. Or it may be that the owner completely deleted the previous one and recreated with the same name.

When you connect to a wireless network,
the settings and profile of that specific network is saved on your computer so that you won’t have to re-enter your network credentials again, such as the password.  If you had enabled to connect automatically, your computer attempts to connect to the wireless network automatically next time it is in range.

Here are a few things you need to check:

Was the WiFi password changed?
If yes, you need to enter the new password and connect. You will usually get a password prompt if that is so.

Was the SSID (WiFi Name) changed?
If the SSID was changed, then you will see as new WiFi connection available. Connect by entering the credentials.

Check for duplicate WiFi Networks with the same name:
If the WiFi Password or SSID has been changed, you need to check if there are duplicate WiFi networks saved on your computer. As discussed earlier, Windows saves WiFi networks you have conencted to. So there might be duplicates which might be causing conflicts. You need to remove them.

Find and click on "Network Connection Settings"

Click on "Manage Known Networks" just below Wi-Fi

If you find duplicate WiFi Network names, click on it and click "Forget".

Suppose you are trying to connect to "Anonymous1" as seen in the screenshot above, do forget for each with the name than attempt to re-connect fresh.
